If you love simple DIY projects that bring a little magic to the holidays, this one is perfect for you. Today we are making a small Christmas tree ornament using a clear acrylic card and the MamaHive Glass Paint Set. It is easy, fun and great for kids and adults.
Step 1: Gather your materials
Start by getting a clear acrylic ornament and your MamaHive Glass Paint Set. These two items will be the base of the whole project. The acrylic card gives you a smooth surface to work on and the colors from our paint set stay bright and glossy.
Step 2: Clean the acrylic surface
Before painting, give the surface a quick wipe. Make sure there is no dust or fingerprints so your colors can stick evenly. A clean base always makes the final piece look much better.
Step 3: Draw your outline with the MamaHive Liner Pen
Use the MamaHive liner pen to draw the design you like. We decided to draw a small gift box because it fits the holiday theme and looks cute on the tree. After drawing the outline, let it dry completely before you go to the next step.

Step 4: Add color with MamaHive Glass Paint
Once the outline is dry, fill in your design with MamaHive Glass Paint. The colors spread smoothly and stay vibrant after drying. Take your time and enjoy the process. When you finish, let the card dry until the paint becomes glossy and firm.

Step 5: Hang it on your Christmas tree
When everything is dry, your ornament is ready. Add a ribbon or hook and place it on your Christmas tree. It brings a handmade touch to your holiday decor and makes the tree feel even more personal.
